If we look at what is present on the planet around our sexuality – how we use it, all the pain, fear and anger that people have around it, the child abuse and sexual violence that is so prevalent in our society – we can see that there is a need for some sort of change to take place.  Most of us have not had empowering sexual experiences in our lives as we’ve grown into adulthood, and many of us perpetuate these experiences in our relationships.  Although we don’t intend to pass our sexual distortions and make wrongs on to our children, at some level they receive it.

At the same time, it’s important to understand how fundamentally connected our sexuality is to our creative process and, of course, our deep joyA state or condition in which you know that you are in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing. Notice that it does not include emotional states in this definition.
