Yes, our nonprofit is a church, but it could also be called a temple, mosque or synagogue. We feel there is innate human desire to find some deeper meaning to life beyond our physical existence. In this church there is no need to profess a particular belief or faith, you can be Christian, Moslem, Buddhist, or come from any religious background, you can even be an athiest. We only require a commitmentCommitment is a VERY misunderstood distinction. Commonly, a commitment is thought to be a promise to do something or a promise to be a certain way. This is incorrect. Promises to do or be are only intentions, which are highly empowered if the intention has a high probability of being fulfilled or poorly empowered if the intention has a low probability of being fulfilled.
